Mumbai, May 23 Intervalve Poonawalla Ltd, a Poonawalla Group firm, today said it has launched a new plant with having 10,000 valves per month capacity at Pune.
“A new manufacturing facility has come up next to the existing one at Hadapsar and will undertake the production of bigger size ball valves in soft and metal seat variants apart from gate globe check valves and scotch yoke actuators,” a company statement said here.
The new plant is spread across 35,000 square feet and houses facility for pressure test, hydro test, fire safety test and cycle test. The installed manufacturing capacity of the new plant is about 10,000 valves per month, it said.
Yohan Poonawalla, Chairman and Managing Director of the Poonawalla Group of Engineering Companies said, “We decided to expand our manufacturing base to add new products to our product line in this category.”
