In a historic first, renowned Indian Industrialist Yohan Poonawalla has become the first Indian ever to feature in the global list of ‘Top 100 Classic Car Collectors of the World’. The list was released in ‘The Key’. Now in its fifth year, ‘The Key’ is an annual publication of The Classic Car Trust (TCCT) based in the European city of Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. The Top 100 list features the biggest names from the collector car world such as Ralph Lauren, Nicola Bulgari, Jay Leno, Peter Mullin, Jack Nethercutt, Bernie Ecclestone, Evert Louwman, Nick Mason, Fritz Kaiser, Sir Michael Kadoorie, David Sydorick, Bill Lyon, Corrado Lopresto and Andrew Pisker to name a few.
Inducting the leading Indian collector in the elite list, Chief Editor of ‘The Key’ Antonio Ghini stated “Yohan Poonawalla brings India into the top 100 ranking for the first time. He shows historic cars at various events and brings home prestigious awards.”
